iOS 19 update: Farewell to three iPhone models!

As Apple’s highly anticipated WWDC25 event approaches, one of the hottest topics in the tech world is the iOS 19 update. On June 9, Apple will officially unveil its latest operating system. While the new features of iOS 19 are exciting, another key question is which iPhone models will receive the update. According to recent reports, Apple will be dropping support for three iPhone models with iOS 19.

Recent leaks suggest that iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max will not be eligible for the iOS 19 update. The reason? All three models run on the A12 Bionic chip, which Apple is expected to phase out with this update.

All other iPhone models that received iOS 18 are expected to support iOS 19. However, it’s important to note that some advanced features may be exclusive to newer models with more powerful hardware. Notably, Apple Intelligence features are rumored to be available only on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 series, and later models.

The list of iPhone models likely to support iOS 19 includes:
