Leapmotor B10 launches in China with an attractive $13,580 price tag

Chinese EV manufacturer Leapmotor has unveiled the first model of its global B Series lineup — the Leapmotor B10 — with a highly competitive starting price of $13,580 in China. Positioned to rival models like the BYD Atto 3, the B10 is also expected to make its way to European markets in the near future.

Spacious Design with Practical Dimensions

The Leapmotor B10 boasts dimensions of 4515 mm in length, 1885 mm in width, and 1655 mm in height, along with a 2735 mm wheelbase that provides a roomy interior. Compared to its main competitor, the Atto 3, it is 6 cm longer, offering additional cargo space. The standard 515-liter trunk expands up to 1415 liters with the rear seats folded, making it suitable for both daily use and longer trips.

Contemporary and Aerodynamic Exterior

Staying true to Leapmotor’s latest design philosophy, the B10 features a sleek front end with slim LED daytime running lights and boxy main headlamps. Flush door handles, fender-mounted cameras, and 18-inch wheels give the car a sophisticated and aerodynamic look. A continuous LED taillight strip enhances the visual appeal at the rear, while top-tier trims come equipped with a Lidar sensor mounted on the windshield, boosting its advanced driving assistance capabilities.

Tech-Filled Cabin for Modern Drivers

Inside, the B10 offers a tech-centric environment. Drivers are greeted by an 8.8-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.6-inch multimedia display with 2.5K resolution. The infotainment system, Leapmotor OS 4.0 Plus, integrates an AI-powered voice assistant and runs on the Snapdragon 8155 chipset. Depending on the trim, standard features may include power-adjustable seats, a 15W wireless charging pad, and a 12-speaker sound system.

Strong Performance and Impressive Range

Built on the Leap 3.5 modular platform, the B10 offers multiple powertrain options. The entry-level version delivers 132 kW (177 hp), while the more powerful variant outputs 160 kW (215 hp). Battery options include 56.2 kWh and 67.1 kWh LFP packs, offering 510 km and 600 km of range respectively, based on CLTC standards.

With its attractive price, modern features, and solid electric range, the Leapmotor B10 is poised to become a compelling player in the affordable electric SUV market — both in China and abroad.
